Since 1970, Mitsubishi Electric has been designing and manufacturing commercial heat pump products. It was one of the first manufacturers in Japan to apply heat pump technology to hot water supply and was also the first manufacturer to develop a product line using R407C refrigerant to produce hot water at temperatures up to 70°C, high enough to limit the growth of bacteria and mold. The products mainly serve areas such as hotels, hospitals, schools as well as high-end apartments.
With a “flash injection” circuit and a high-efficiency inverter compressor, the heat pump can provide hot water up to 70°C. Furthermore, the system maintains better performance even when the outdoor temperature is low.
To ensure that the system is not interrupted when one compressor fails, the Standby function is introduced to help the remaining compressor continue to operate. In addition, the system also adds the Alternate function, contributing to increasing the life of a set of 2 or more heat pumps. By running the heat pumps alternately, this function ensures that the operating time between the machines is the same.
Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps are equipped with two modes: performance priority and capacity priority. Optimizing the capacity of the device will bring higher efficiency when used with a boiler, helping to significantly reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
